This 60 minute individual movement and meditation session is designed with you and your unique needs in mind. You can expect an accessible gentle movement and meditation sequence taught through an evidenced-based, trauma-informed lens. Sessions can be done completely in a chair or with a yoga mat, and require no previous yoga or meditation experience, no special clothing or equipment.These sessions are useful for those who desire to:
Reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, prenatal or postpartum depression or anxiety, grief or loss, eating disorders or PTSD.
Improve sense of self, overall wellness and self-acceptance.
Have the support of a qualified yoga facilitator to guide you through practice and offer you tools to create solid ground for yourself, wherever you are.

These 30 or 60 minute sessions offer opportunities to practice a specific movement modality called TC-TSY, or Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga. TC-TSY is an adjunctive clinical, evidence based treatment for complex trauma and PTSD that was developed at the Trauma Center in Brookline, Massachusetts.
