Currently we're offering both individual and group yoga and movement sessions at Vanda Counseling (read more about their services and mission HERE). Group sessions are held in 4 week series and pre-registration is required due to limited space. You can book an individual session by clicking here.
This four week series for women, taught with trauma-informed principles, will guide you through a gentle practice and offer tools designed to help manage the overwhelming feelings of anxiety. Opportunities for journaling and/or group discussion will be made available. You define what anxiety means for you, no prior experience with yoga necessary. Accessible to most. **Optional hands-on assists will be offered (permission will be requested) This series will be held on four consecutive Thursdays from 10:00 am to 11:00 am starting June 7th
In this 4 week series, we’ll create a space for participants to begin to explore sensations in their bodies and connect to their body’s inner wisdom. This group will focus on the yoga principles of balance, non-violence, and acceptance to encourage integration of our whole selves: mind, body and spirit. Participants can expect a small supportive group of women, gentle yoga postures depending on the needs of specific participants, journal activities with optional group sharing, breath practices and meditation. Completely optional use of essential oils and touch during meditation. This series will meet on four consecutive Mondays from 7:00 pm to 8:15 pm starting June 4th
