This series meets Saturday March 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th from 10:00-11:30 am at Wild Tree Wellness in St. Paul.

In a society obsessed with outer appearances, instagram followers, and the next new quick fix or fad diet; we often internalize the idea that our bodies--and our lives--are never enough. We constantly put ourselves under pressure to change--and when the new diet or exercise doesn’t work, we get stuck in a cycle of shame or depression, believing that we'll never fit in or measure up. The teachings and practice of yoga and meditation offer us tools to identify unhelpful thoughts, persist through the untruths we're confronted with, improve body awareness, and even appreciate the bodies we have today. This series, taught by Sarah Zuber will focus on radical acceptance, self-compassion, affirmation, and embracing life from within. Each session will include yoga, as well as time for journaling, reflection, and practices to take home. These series will be trauma-informed and inclusive of all bodies (ages, shapes, sizes and abilities*).

*Please note that this series will be held in a garden level studio that can only be accessed via stairs. We acknowledge that this creates a barrier for some, we apologize for this, and are looking for solutions for the future. Thank you for your patience.

*Optional hands on assists may be offered during the relaxation portion of class. Consent will be requested, and you are welcome to opt out at any point, for any reason. Essential oils may be used in the space. Brief periods of silence will be included.
